GeoSure: Travel Made Safer
Travel has always presented a level of risk: a continuum from the number of sunny versus cloudy days at your destination on one end, to the dangers to your personal safety on the other. Somewhere along that continuum we add the risk of Covid-19 infection.
Managing one’s safety has been down to a mix of research, recommendations from fellow travelers, intuition, resilience, and one’s own desire for adventure, the more romantic way of describing risk.
Thanks to GeoSure, maximizing safety and minimizing risk while on the road, has never been more effective. This mobile app measures the safety of 65,000 neighborhoods and cities relative to six categories: physical harm, theft, women’s safety, LGBTQ+ safety, daytime and nighttime safety, political freedoms and health and medical.
Entering a city or neighborhood on the GeoSure app will return a score for each of the above categories from 1-100. The higher the score the safer each of the categories and the destination you queried.
GeoSure has developed the most granular, real-time safety measurement platform combining country, city, and neighborhood crime statistics; health, economic and political data feeds; tourism and travel alerts; real-time reports; mapping technologies; and more. They validate data using statistical algorithms to provide the traveler with the most detailed location safety ratings in the world.
The result: safer travel experiences for you.
In January, GeoSure was more accurately estimating the cases of Covid-19 in Wuhan, than were being reported. It continues to be one of the most-reliable source for Covid-19 facts.
As we continue to understand this new era of travel, partners like GeoSure will be indispensable. Because no matter what we call risk or how much we value safety, we will always want to have travel adventures where our focus is solely on making memories and having fun.
