Ironworks
The Venue with a Past
Ironworks is Denver’s newest iconic special event venue, located conveniently in the heart of Downtown Denver. It is an alluring venue offering a space that is suited for a wide range of styles and types of events.
The original building, the Midwest Steel and Ironworks Building, dates back to the turn of the century (1903). At that time the building was a Denver landmark, serving as the headquarters for the drafting and operations of Midwest Steel. The building was designed by Denver architect, Roland L. Linder. Many well-known Colorado landmarks had their plans drafted in this building. Some of those include; the Royal Gorge Bridge, all four of the Big Thompson Bridges, Moffat Tunnel, East Denver High School, and Denver’s City and County Building.
Today, the newly restored building is home to an illustrious venue that not only is beautiful, but historic. Some of the elegant and classic historic era décor feature a captivating bar, exposed brick, large custom chandelier, and hardwood floors. There are great urban additions, as well, like the patio with large doors that allows the venue to open up to the outside and enjoy the amazing Colorado nights.
Ironworks offers a distinguished and rooted atmosphere that is unlike any other venue. It is centrally located, easily accessible from the light rail, and has a parking lot on-site to accommodate your guests.
