3 Tips for Making Your Wedding Spectacular

BIG DAY - LOCATION.jpg

Before we write another word, your wedding will be spectacular by the simple fact that you and your husband-to-be have decided to live your lives together. Period. The end. So, what follows are ideas for making your wedding even more spectacular!

Listen, spectacular should more accurately be spelled $pectacular, because anything that might want to go over-the-top is also going to go over-the-budget.

But, not every single element of your wedding needs to be - or even should be - show-stopping. In fact, it is always the quiet moments that grooms and their guests remember most. While your arrival on horseback under a shower of fireworks will be impressive, it is more likely the moment you let the tears flow during your vows, that will leave the biggest impression.

SPECTACULAR IS IN THE DETAILS

No matter your budget, there are countless ways of giving your guests a memorable experience. While they are at your wedding for you, your doing something for them will stand out. From a personal note sharing with them why they matter to you to ensuring their favorite hot sauce is available for the late-night fries, guests are going to remember what was made personal to them.

PUT YOUR SPECTACULAR CHIPS ON ONE NUMBER

Do you love over-the-top invitations? Or, are you more about the outrageous flowers? Maybe you want a named drag act versus a celebrity chef. No matter what your budget, there's always room for you to indulge. We are of the mind, though, that you put your chips on the aspect of the wedding that is going to bring you most joy. So, if bubbles or blooms or threads are your thing, put a little bit more of your budget on that thing.

SAY IT SPECTACULARLY

Ultimately, the most unique element of any wedding are the words grooms say to each other, and family and friends say of the grooms. Every other element of a wedding can be replicated, bested, adapted or cut. But, words will always carry the day. So, make them spectacular by being emotional, practicing what you're going to say (especially those toasting) and listen deeply to what is said to and about you.
