Rev. Dr. Samora is a highly-acclaimed, non-denominational minister who has been officiating weddings in NYC for the past 12 years. Being raised in a multi-faith, multi-cultural family from NYC has given her the sensitivity and gift to work with couples of all faiths and backgrounds. Rev. Dr. Samora also feels incredibly blessed to have been officiating at the very beginning of The Marriage Equality Act and when the law was first passed in NY. She had the unique experience of growing up around many gay couples who were her mom’s best friends, and she was even a regular attendee of the Ms Fire Island contest (before RuPaul). Unfortunately, her mother passed away, along with many of her “Uncles” before gay marriage ever even became a possibility, so it has been a true calling and passion for Dr. Samora to support LGBTQ unions. Dr. Samora is also a spiritual coach, pre-marital counselor, and Minister of Music for The Interfaith Temple.
