We are so taken by this story, one about getting married when the moment is right. Here’s to all the gents who have spent years together. David and Warren are inspiration for us all.

“I’m one of 5 sibling of which 4 are gay. I was out on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at our local bar in New Orleans and Warren was speaking to two of my brothers, when I arrived. David asked them who I was and after being introduced we chatted for awhile and before leaving that evening, we exchanged phone numbers. We arranged to meet for dinner on November 17th, 1994.”

“Last holiday season, we invited a group of friends over for a holiday dinner party. As the night progressed, the conversation turned to talking about marriage among our friends. To my surprise, Warren got up from the table and got on one knee in front of me and with a Lenox Diamond Christmas Ornament, he told our friends that he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. He asked would I marry him to which I said “YES.”
